Spontaneous poetry
Theme: Love

From behind the rock of obscurity
I peeped at your full bloom glory
Although the radiance was eye stinging
I just couldn’t stop gazing
While your eyes looked away
It felt like they were searching my soul
Then with majesty you picked yourself up
And edged your way closer to me
My heart started racing uncontrollably
The rock of obscurity seemed like no defense at all
I wished there were a better option
To vanish, maybe…
Then I smelled your fragrance
Like that of a rose in the summer
It was fresh, liberating and enticing
Before I could come to myself
I was helplessly drawn your way
And I now stood looking into your big Bright eyes
Confused, tongue tied and embarrassed
But you drew me in with a warm smile
With your eyes still fixed on my frame
You uttered some words which I couldn’t recall
But I sure remember how they felt
My worth was entrenched
And my fears were cast away
Strange enough I could now see myself in you
Your glory was now mine and you didn’t mind
Then you held me by the hand
And led me into the spaciousness of life
Where miracles are the norm
